Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Driftline ("we", "us", "our") handles information. Driftline is a calm daily puzzle app. The short version: Driftline has no accounts and no servers that store your data. Your progress stays on your phone.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect, receive or store your personal information. Specifically, Driftline does not ask you to create an account, and does not collect your name, email address, photos, contacts, microphone, location or advertising ID.
2. Data Stored On Your Device

This data lives only in the app's storage on your phone. It is not sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app, or using Settings → Reset Progress (for progress), removes it.
3. Notifications (Gentle Reminder)
If you turn on the Gentle Reminder, Driftline asks for notification permission and schedules one quiet notification on your phone at the time you pick. It is a local notification created by your device. We do not use push-notification servers and no notification token is sent anywhere. You can turn it off in the app at any time, or in your phone's system settings.
4. Sharing
If you tap Share Result, Driftline prepares a short text (puzzle number, "Solved", and a link) and hands it to your phone's share sheet or clipboard. You decide where it goes. The text never contains the puzzle's solution. Opening a shared link in a browser loads that puzzle; the web version also keeps your progress only in your own browser.
5. Analytics, Advertising and Third Parties
Driftline does not include advertising or third-party analytics. Nothing about how you play is sent to us. The app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, which may collect their own data under their own policies. The web version is hosted on Vercel, which may keep ordinary server logs (such as IP address) for operating the site.
6. Children's Privacy
Because Driftline collects no personal information, it is safe for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
7. Your Rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on a server. Your data is on your device and you control it. If you have any question, email us.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the "Last updated" date above when we do. If we ever add features that collect information (for example optional accounts), we'll update this policy first and ask for your choice where required.
